Dblur is an interdisciplinary Israeli company developing technology to extend performance boundaries of conventional optics through the use of digital image processing. Applications of this technology include enhanced depth of field, improved low-light camera performance, smaller cameras modules, and more.
Gil Algorithms has been working with Dblur's algorithmic team for almost a year on various projects regarding the development of Dblur's next generation algorithms. The Gil Algorithms team compliments Dblur's knowledge with its extensive experience in the image sensors and image-signal-processing domains. Significant contributions were made in all stages of the project, starting from creative ideas during the problem-solving stage to effective and reliable implementation and, finally, integration. Deliverables included high-quality algorithms, code, and various documents.
Services consisted of both independent development of turnkey solutions as well as intimate joint work with Dblur's team. The combination of these two modes yielded successful projects and high-quality products, resulting in the creation of new algorithms that are smaller in logic and that produce higher image quality. Outstanding cooperation with Gil Algorithms played a large role in this success.
